“Bellyrina Oriental Dance Academy” Beginner Level This class begins with an introduction to core Bellydance technique while incorporating basic finger cymbal rhythms and dancing with a veil. Every six weeks, we will learn a choreography. Intermediate/Advanced Level In this class we will continue to identify and recognize more complex Middle Eastern rhythm combinations for finger cymbals and drum solos. You will learn intricate hip isolations and signature techniques as well as dancing with props such as the cane. We will learn a Folkloric Cane Routine and an Oriental Bellydance Routine with veil and finger cymbals. Jihan will share her knowledge on how to polish your stage presence, choose appropriate costuming, make up and accessories. All students completing a full six-week semester will receive a Bellyrina Oriental Dance Academy Certificate.
